Doubt Robs You of Your Dreams

The biggest win for South Africa in a 30 year-long-corruption-and-scandal-filled-years journey when a coalition government was formed.
You, the people, brought life back to South Africa and the currency already gained almost 20% in value.
You want to believe that this new power will be continuing Nelson Mandela’s Long Walk to Freedom started more than twenty five years ago.

Days, weeks, months and even years ago the doubt of this man and what he was doing to South African and its people could and might have killed your dreams.
Some people even decided to leave the country because of the uncertainty.

This reminds me of the powerful quote by Suzy Kassem – “Doubt kills more dreams than failure”.

What is doubt?
Doubt is a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction.
Doubt is not based on fact.
Fact can and will override uncertainly or create conviction.

Where in your life have you allowed doubt to steal and rob your dreams?

You might have an entrepreneurial dream but doubt about difficulties, confidence and realization has you actually never start your race.
The excitement that drives the fire and passion within, starts dying slowly each time the doubt is acknowledged.

What if you spent more time on the actual dream and the possibilities it holds?

What if your dream was completely non-negotiable?

How would you deal with doubts that then creep in (as they always do)?

If you keep your dream alive, challenges and doubt just need creativity and sound solutions.
It’s like traveling from A to B.
A flood forces a new route.
B is not negotiable – the route is though.

Start with an undeniable commitment to your future and dreams and you will see that doubt becomes a route to avoid or pass only.

Remember you are the only obstacle in your own dreams.
