Visas and….

Its been a few days and a bit dissapointed in myself for not posting but I’m going to follow my own advice to clients both for coaching and yoga – close my eyes, take a deep breath, relax my shoulders. Almost immediately a sense of calm and understanding that what was most important received priority.

So we are still waiting for our visas..meaning also no passports and we are departing Saturday morning.

That said we would have been way worse off had I not asked more questions and more questions and more questions.

I also teach the kids to not accept every answer or reply given to them.

They need to apply themselves and think about what it is they want and need and how the reply fits into that.

It’s not a selfish or arrogant attitude but instead an overall strategy to stay focused on their desire and use whatever they have in their arsenal to get there.

The lesson regarding visa was a case where a front reception just ignored my information despite calls beforehand to clear all matters. Had I accepted it, guaranteed no visa due to time constraints. But patiently I asked to speak to a senior official. Hesitantly he stepped back and I never spoke to a senior official but visa in in process.

Focus.

THINK.

Patience.

Don’t take a ‘no’ as final, EVER!
