“I believe that life is about finding what makes your heart sing and pursuing that with your whole being.”

Life is what you make it.
Every day I see people who aren’t following their dreams though – who keep falling into the traps of worldly success or failure.
From my own experiences and those of the people around me, I understand that pursuing your most authentic life means overcoming the obstacles of fear and doubt.
To quote from a wise leader Nelson Mandela, “It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

I am inspired by the words of magnate and philanthropist Warren Buffet and his son Peter Buffet, who teach “the rewards of self-respect and pursuing one’s own passions and accomplishments rather than buying into society’s concepts of material wealth.” As Buffet says, “I am my own person and I know what I have accomplished in my life. This isn’t about wealth or fame or money or any of that stuff, it is actually about values and what you enjoy and finding something you love doing."

What life and career will honour you and bring you the most contentment? 

My story

I loved movies since I saw Steven Spielberg’s “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”. Unfortunately finances did not allow it at the time and I studied what seemed to be the more sensible thing.  

I lived abroad where I gained invaluable experience. I even had my dream job – Finance Director for Stella McCartney (then Gucci Group) worldwide.
It was on a red carpet filled paparazzi event that I learned about the difference between wants and needs.
I learned about opportunity cost in every decision I make.
I learned to know my real needs and make decisions honouring that.

At roughly the same time, I was introduced to the field of coaching. I realised that I had been coaching my friends, family and colleagues in my personal and professional life for years.
I took the first step in my journey towards making my life count and trained as a coach.

I now live in the picturesque South African Cape Winelands and have a guesthouse in Stellenbosch.

My own life-changing decisions have given me a unique perspective on change. I can testify that positive change is possible and that the most exciting opportunities come about because you face your fears, not despite them.
Returning home and starting my own businesses with my family has been the most rewarding decisions of my life, and I want to share the challenging, daunting and fulfilling experiences of these times with you.

My God and my family are the most important things to me. 

I live a healthy and sustainable life as best I can, because I see myself as the steward of a life that has been entrusted to me. 

I am always chasing and building my and my loved ones’ dreams.
