New Journey building on Sustainable Slow Purposeful 2020
Today is day 3 of our new journey..
Two days of constant challenges. Pretty normal though. I always tell my clients that the harder it is the more likely you are on track as the devil, universe, karma, whatever you want to call it wants to rob you from your true desires.
Narrative – most of you know we are an unschooling family.
As a professional coach i believe that my clients have everything they need to create the futures they desire.
Surely then it should apply to my kids too?
Unschooling means that our children’s learning and education is directed by themselves.
Caleb, our 9 year old, wants to be an actor. He already is.
This journey though starts with an opportunity for him to join an international musical on their Asian tour starting end of February for around 13 months.
A contradiction of sorts.
One. The opportunity of an absolute life time for Caleb and the family supporting him.
Two. Our family life as we know will change completely to sail through this opportunity.
Yes loads of planning around the how and the when and the budgeting to make it all possible.
Only one guardian can join and because I set my career up around lifestyle and family, I’m the one.
At same time I’m the (un)lucky one that will call hotels ‘home’ for the next few months and if you know me I’m no hotel fan.
Caleb will be working hard.
The mom has business as usual without the boys of the house at night and on weekends.
Kristin actually, although disrupted, has the most exciting year ahead with travels and ticking her wish list for 2020.
Roughly three weeks and we on a plane to the Philippines.
This newsletter is day 3 actually of my new blog.
A blog I know will lead to a book.
The next 13 months will unwrap that present to me – a learning.
Most important though to you too – the reader – as it needs to have nuggets of gold to assist you on this journey of life.
The blogs name probably will change along the way.
For you the reader and follower I hope it brings encouragement: to follow a dream, a hearts decision.
Including the ups and downs.
It never is smooth sailing, is it?
The pleasure and satisfaction lies in that, freedom: to follow your true convictions despite the odds.
I’m sure some days might just have a pic even.
But it will speak for itself.
Thanks for everyone that has ever supported me through kind or harsh words even.
Dedicated to those that are getting ready for their journey!
Blessings To Your Success
